  • Lake Austin Pick Up/Drop Off Locations?

    The pickup and drop-off locations are determined during checkout. However, the location for pickup may change at any time. Please contact us with any questions.

  • Can You Pick Us Up From A Different Location?

    Yes, we can. However, it may cut into your rental time as it takes our drivers some time to get to your desired pick-up and drop-off location. Please contact us for more information.


  • Where Do We Park?

    We recommend a rideshare program such as Lyft or Uber. It’s convenient and safer for everyone. Please note that Loop 360 Boat Ramp is a public boat ramp and not our private dock. Our drivers and/or team will meet you here at the dock upon your arrival. Please do not hesitate to contact us for any reason if you are having difficulty locating the dock.



  • Do I need to sign a waiver?

    Yes, our boat rental waiver can be found here.

  • Can I Rent a Boat Without a Captain?

    No, all our boats will be driven by an experienced captain for your convenience.

  • What Should I Bring?

    Ice, drinks, snacks, sunscreen, towels, pool floats, shades, and hats. Please no glass or styrofoam. We will provide the fuel and ice chest.

  • Will You Provide Ice?

    No, we do not provide ice but we do provide an empty cooler.

  • Do you serve food or beverages?

    No, we do not provide any food or beverages to our passengers.

  • Can We Tube From a Pontoon?

    No, we do not allow tubing from our pontoons boats.

  • Do You Provide Life Jackets?

    Yes, we provide adult and kid-sized life jackets. However, we do not provide infant or small children life jackets as they are specialty items.

  • What is The Normal Tip For The Captain?

    The usual tip amount is 18-20% gratuity on most boat rentals. We require a minimum of 15% captain’s tip on all boat rentals. Any amount due will be charged to the credit card on file.



  • Can We Bring Dogs?

    Yes, you can bring your furry friend but please don’t let them on the seats as their nails can tear the vinyl.



  • What is Your Boat Rental Cancellation Policy?

    Cancellations must be submitted 5 or more days before your rental date for a full refund. Cancellations within 5 days of your rental date will forfeit 50% of the rental fee. Cancellations within 24 hours of the rental date will forfeit all of the rental fees. NO SHOWS will be charged for the entire amount of the booking on the renter’s credit card. Cancellations must be made in writing and emailed to nautisideboatrentals@gmail.com.

  • What if it Rains?

    We will work with you when it comes to bad weather. Cancellations due to severe weather are determined on your rental day. We do not cancel due to weather forecasts. We will call you on the day of your booking to either reschedule or refund your full rental amount. Please note, bad weather does not mean cloudy skies or some condensation. Our recommendation is to come down to the dock and hopes for the best.
